The file size has been revealed by the official Xbox Store shopping website for the Xbox One version of Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. The remastered release of the action game is going to take up 20.24 GB on the HDD of Microsoft’s current-gen system. To compare, we previously reported that the PS4 version requires 19.2 GB.
For the uninformed, Microsoft packs in a 500 GB hard drive along with every Xbox One console. A retail listing also mentioned that a 1 TB version of the system is coming out later this year. Gamers can use compatible external drives to add even more space as well.
Devil May Cry 4 was originally released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2008. The game introduces Nero as a playable character in addition to featuring the iconic Dante.
With the advent of a new generation, Capcom decided to port the game to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The remastered version comes with improved visuals, including increasing the native resolution to 1080p. In terms of new features, the upcoming title adds the Legendary Dark Knight mode, which was previously exclusive to the PC version.
The most prominent addition, however, is three new playable characters. Gamers will be able to control Lady, Nero and Trish. All three will also have their own opening and ending cut scenes. Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is releasing on the 23rd of June for the Xbox One, as well as PS4 and PC, in North America.
