The PlayStation Store shopping website has updated its listing for Alienation, revealing the file size for the PlayStation 4 exclusive. According to the product page, the top-down shooter is going to take up 2.2 GB of free space on the internal hard disk drive of the PlayStation 4. When viewed from the PS4, the listing showed a slightly less 2.2 GB requirement.
For the uninformed, Alienation is the latest project from Housemarque, the same studio behind Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, Outland, Resogun as well as the upcoming Matterfall. Alienation is similar to Dead Nation; instead of fighting off zombies, however, you are fighting against invading aliens. The twin stick shooter features some added depth as it comes with online co-op, multiple classes, skill upgrades, custom weapons and stat tracking.
The digital game will be released on the 26th of April in the North American region.
Every PlayStation 4 unit comes with either an 500 GB or 1 TB internal hard disk drive. Although you won’t be able to add more space via an external HDD, you can replace the internal drive with another one that has a bigger capacity.
