The file size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Abzu. According to a listing from the PlayStation Store, the adventure game is going to take up 1.93 GB of free space on the PS4’s internal hard disk drive.
For the uninformed, Abzu is being developed by Giant Squid, a new studio that was formed by Matt Nava, the art director behind the acclaimed Flower and Journey. The software product is being published by 505 Games. In addition to the PlayStation 4 home console, it will also be released for the PC platform.
Abzu is a swimming simulator where you get to interact with aquatic life. The game’s progression will be linear, similar to the aforementioned Flower and Journey. So, if you are a fan of That Game Company’s previous works, you might want to check out the new title from Giant Squid, which will be released on the 2nd of August in the North American region.
So far, the PS4 has came with either a 500 GB or 1 TB hard drive. If you are in need of more space, we recommend getting the OWC DIY 2 TB Drive Upgrade Bundle so that you can get all the required tools necessary to replace the default internal HDD with one that has a capacity of 2 TB.
