The ESRB has released its rating summary for the upcoming Monster Hunter Generations. The action-adventure game ended up with a Teen rating as a result of contents categorized as blood, crude humor, fantasy violence and mild suggestive themes.
The fights in the game are highlighted with “red blood-like spurts.” Some armor also shows off large amounts of female cleavage. You can check out the full rating summary for the latest Monster Hunter game below:
This is an action-adventure game in which players engage in hunting missions in a fantastical world filled with monsters. Players use swords, lances, bombs, and firearms to kill various creatures (e.g., dragons, dinosaurs, sand sharks) and complete missions/quests. Battles are accompanied by impact sounds, cries of pains, and realistic explosions. Red blood-like spurts briefly appear as characters and monsters are injured. Players can equip female characters with revealing outfits that depict large amounts of cleavage. During the course of the game, players can throw “dung bombs” at enemies, resulting in depictions of greenish-brown clouds.
Monster Hunter Generations is expected to come out exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS sometime later this summer in North America. If you are interested, you can preorder the portable monster hunting game with this link on Amazon.
