The exact release date has been listed by multiple retailers, including Amazon and GameStop, for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. The Japanese role-playing game is expected to come out on the 20th of September in the North American region. If you are interested, you can preorder the latest SMT title on Amazon with this link.
For the uninformed, the story of Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse overlaps with the plot of the original Shin Megami Tensei IV. The combat in this JRPG should be familiar to hardcore fans of the series as players can obtain 450 demons (either by recruiting them or as a result of fusion) for fights. In the battles, you can boost attributes, exploit enemy weaknesses in addition to using the returning Press Turn and Smirking mechanics from the prior game.
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse came out earlier this year in Japan on the 10th of February. The software product is known as Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final in the eastern region.
Aside from Apocalypse, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is another SMT game that is being released on a Nintendo platform in North America. The upcoming console JRPG will be launching for the Wii U on the 24th of June.
