ESRB explains its Teen rating for Langrisser I & II

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its summary for Langrisser I & II. The collection ended up with a Teen rating due to contents categorized as Fantasy Violence, Mild Language and Suggestive Themes. You can find the full ESRB description below:

This is collection of two strategy role-playing games in which players lead an army of warriors against evil forces in a medieval setting. From an overhead perspective, players navigate grid-based environments and engage in turn-based battles against knights and fantasy creatures (e.g., demons, goblins, skeletons); combat is presented via brief animations of units performing magic spells, swinging weapons, and firing arrows. Some characters and monsters are depicted with exaggerated-sized breasts and/or with low-cut outfits that expose large amounts of cleavage (e.g., a Succubus creature). The word “bastard” appears in the game.

Langrisser I & II is coming out in early 2020 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. If you are interested, you can pre-order the physical console versions of the collection with this link on Amazon.
