The download sizes have been revealed by the Nintendo eShop for both Star Fox Guard and Star Fox Zero. According to the shopping website when viewed from the Nintendo Wii U, Star Fox Guard requires 2116.7 MB of free space. Star Fox Zero needs even more as the software product weighs in at 6400.5 MB.
If you don’t have the bandwidth and/or storage space, you can purchase the physical version. If you are interested you can preorder the disc version of Star Fox Zero, which is bundled with Star Fox Guard, with this link on Amazon.
For the uninformed, Star Fox Guard is a tower defense game where you use the Wii U GamePad to switch between different cameras in order to attack the weak points of invading enemies. This game can be bought separately or as part of a bundle with Star Fox Zero.
Zero is more of a traditional Star Fox experience as it is an on-rails shooter. The upcoming game will make extensive usage out of the Wii U GamePad so that you can aim and move around on your ship independently.
Both Star Fox Guard and Star Fox Zero will be released for the Nintendo Wii U on the 22nd of April in the North American region.
