Bandai Namco released a new batch of screenshots for the upcoming Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. The screens highlight some of the improvements and new features from the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and DirectX 11 versions. You can preorder the enhanced release of Dark Souls 2 from Amazon with this page. Take a look at the screenshots of the RPG below this paragraph.
The screens show off the improved lighting and deeper field of vision from the visual side. For gameplay, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin has increased the number of online players to a maximum of six. From Software also changed enemy placement, increased the range of pursuit and added a new deadly black phantom named Forlorn (who is going to hunt you no matter where you are in the game).
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is also coming out on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. However, the improvements and new features mentioned above won’t be added to the last-gen console versions due to technical hurdles with the lower-powered hardware.
Scholar of the First Sin is releasing on the 7th of April on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
