Sony has updated the Headset Companion App with a new custom audio profile for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. For the uninformed, the application can be downloaded for free on the PlayStation Store of the PS4.
The new audio profile is made specifically for the PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset and PlayStation Silver Wired Stereo Headset. Both of these are capable of producing 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound, which really adds to the immersion. In an open-world game like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, being able to pinpoint a direction of a noise can also be crucial. While the PlayStation Pulse Elite Edition Wireless Stereo Headset also supports 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound, a custom Assassin’s Creed Syndicate profile has not yet been added to the device through the above-mentioned Headset Companion App.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version is slated to arrive on the 19th of November. The latest installment in the popular open-world franchise takes place in London during the Industrial Revolution as gamers get to play as Evie and Jacob Frye.
