Cuphead now available for Xbox One and PC

Cuphead has finally been released for the Xbox One and PC in the North American region. The 2D side-scrolling action platformer is part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program, which means that you will get both Xbox One and PC versions of the game with the purchase of one digital copy. If you are interested, you can buy the downloadable game with this link on Amazon.

Cuphead was first announced during Microsoft’s press conference at the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo. The game immediately stood out due to its unique visual style, which is based classic cartoons produced during the 1930s. You can find Amazon’s product description of the 2D platforming title below:

Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!

Cuphead was developed and published by StudioMDHR Entertainment.
