Check out this custom Miiverse Samus Amiibo figure

The weirdest custom Amiibo has appeared on eBay. User “edjka3” was able to completely replace the head of Samus with a blonde female Miiverse avatar. Her arm canon was also swapped with something bigger. You can find the images of the customized figurine below this paragraph.

Miiverse is a social network made specifically for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U. Gamers are able to create their own avatars, which are referred to as Miis. Although you can play as a Mii is Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U, Nintendo has yet to announced a Mii Amiibo.

The above-mentioned custom Samus Amiibo should still functions as intended even with the external modifications. So you will still be able to train the figure player version of Samus in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It is also compatible with Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart 8 (hopefully, it can also be used in a future Metroid games as well).

Samus is part of the first wave of Amiibos along with the likes of Link, Mario and Pikachu. Nintendo released the second set in December and has even more planned for 2015. You can check out the current and future figures with this link on Amazon.
