Blood, partial nudity, strong language and violence detailed for Past Cure

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its summary for Past Cure. The action game ended up with a Mature rating due to blood, partial nudity, strong language and violence. You can find the full ESRB description for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game below:

This is an action game in which players assume the role of a telekinetic secret agent (Ian) searching for answers about his past. From a third-person perspective, players explore dreamscapes and real-world environments while battling human enemies and strange ghouls. Players use pistols and machine guns to shoot at enemies; players can also use stealth attacks to strangle, stab, or slash at characters. Gunfights can be frenetic, highlighted by slow-motion effects, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. In one scene, blood is depicted on a corpse, whose eyes have been gouged out.

During the course of the game, players encounter male mannequin-like enemies with exposed buttocks. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” appear in the dialogue.

Past Cure, which is being developed and published by Phantom 8 Studio, will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home consoles in 2018 in the North American region. If you are interested, you can preorder the multiplatform action game on Amazon with this link.
