Blood, partial nudity and violence detailed for Code Vein

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its summary for Code Vein. The action role-playing game ended up with a M (for Mature) rating due to contents categorized as blood, partial nudity and violence. You can find the full rating summary for the new intellectual property below:

This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of a vampire-like creature (Revenant) battling monsters in a post-apocalyptic world. Characters use swords, lances, axes, and magic to kill enemies in fast-paced third-person combat. Some cutscenes show characters being impaled on bladed weapons, occasionally, in close-up; one cutscene depicts characters getting shot in slow-motion. Enemies emit large splashes of blood when struck/killed.

Some female characters wear outfits that reveal large amounts of their breasts and/or pelvic region; one boss character’s breasts are barely covered by small strips of fabric.

Code Vein will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as the PC platform, on the 29th of September in the North American region. The action RPG is being developed and published by Bandai Namco. If you are interested, you can preorder the physical versions of Code Vein on the PS4 and Xbox One with this link on Amazon.
