Bioware’ Mike Laidlaw has been providing a few pro tips for Dragon Age Inquisition on Twitter. The franchise’s creative director revealed when, where and how to unlock certain content like the red lyrium, mount and Flames of the Inquisition DLC. He also added some gameplay tips like being able to keep your shield up in the same position while backing away in addition to being able to toggle off several visual indicators (helmet, icons, etc). Take a look at his tips below.
DAI Tip: When tanking and maintaining/toggled shield wall, if you lock on, you will face your target even when backing away (R3/Tab to Lock)

DAI Tip: Certain unlocks (bonus horse, crafting recipes for Flames set, etc) are awarded as story progresses in delivery chests.

DAI Tip: You can hide your helmet, but still get the stat bonuses. Options > Interface > Hide Helmet.

Dragon Age Inquisition was released on the 18th of November in the United States. The videogame is a cross-gen release as it came out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 along with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Due to a deal between Electronic Arts and Microsoft, the Xbox platforms will be getting all the major campaign DLC packs first.
