There is some good news for fans who want a physical disc release for the upcoming Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. According to Play Asia, the videogame is getting a retail version in Asian countries. You can check out the listing with the following links: PS4 and Xbox One.
The Asian edition supports both English and Japanese when it comes to texts and voices. You should be able to play the disc as both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are region free.
If you haven’t heard already, Capcom decided against a physical release of Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition in the west due to various factors. It was an interesting choice when you considered that DMC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition got a disc release in North America (you can check it out on Amazon with this link). The decision did not sit well with fans of the series who prefer buying a disc version instead of getting the digital download.
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will be released in North America next month on the 23rd of June. Along with improved graphics, the remastered version of the action game comes with new playable characters and modes. So, if you want to get the physical version with English support, you should check out the Asian edition.
