Animated blood, crude humor and fantasy violence detailed for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2

Plants-vs-Zombies-Garden-Warfare-2-2The ESRB has revealed its rating summary for the upcoming Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. The third-person shooter ended up with a E 10+ rating for having content categorized as animate blood, crude humor and fantasy violence.

The gunfights in the game are highlighted with “cries of pain, realistic gunfire, and large explosions.” One of the character also has a partially exposed buttocks and presumably pass gas on occasion. Take a look at ESRB’s summary for the sequel to Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare below:

This is an action-strategy game in which players control plants to defend gardens from waves of incoming zombies. From a third-person perspective, players roam through stages, plant defensive plants/mushrooms, and use whimsical weapons (e.g., pea shooters, concrete launcher, corn shots) to attack zombies. Battles are sometimes frenetic and accompanied by cries of pain, realistic gunfire, and large explosions. Zombies generally break apart into pieces and/or amid splashes of green liquid when defeated. One zombie character is depicted with partially exposed buttocks and occasionally emits a flatulence sound.
