Amazon opens preorders for Green Camouflage DualShock 4 in North America

Amazon has opened preorders for the Green Camouflage DualShock 4. If you are interested, you can reserve the latest color variant of the PlayStation 4 controller with this link from the shopping website.

The new color is based on the updated design of the game pad. One of the changes is that a small light strip has been added at the top of the touch pad. This new feature makes the DualShock 4 easier to read for the PlayStation 4 camera in games that support motion tracking. Furthermore, it is also more convenient for players as they no longer have to flip the pad around to check out the color of the light bar.

The updated PS4 controller also supports inputs directly via USB. The USB was previously only used to recharge and synch the controller.

The Green Camouflage DualShock 4 is expected to come out sometime in 2017 in Europe and North America.

Sony has been busy with new hardware releases recently. In addition to new DualShock 4 colors, the company also launched the slim PS4, PlayStation VR as well as the PlayStation 4 Pro. Not to mention that a new headset, the PlayStation Platinum, is also expected to come out in early 2017 as well.
