In the latest 15-minute long Game Trailers Bonus Round, Adam Boyes talked about one of his personal favorite highlights of PlayStation Experience in Street Fighter V. Before joining Sony Computer Entertainment America as the Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations, he explained that he was the Director of Production at Capcom USA and got the chance to work on repainting the sprites for Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
He then said that Street Fighter is one of the those “wonderful things” that he could look back to while also adding that he also enjoy working with Yoshinori Ono and the dev team.
Moreover, Adam Boyes expressed excitement towards the cross-play feature, which allows PlayStation and PC gamers to play Street Fighter V together. He think that the fighting game community was previously “dispersed” on various platforms. Thanks to cross-play, however, the same group of people will feel more close-knit than ever before.
Street Fighter V is only coming to the PlayStation 4 and PC thanks to a partnership with Capcom and Sony. A listing from Amazon mentions a launch on March of 2016 for the sequel. You can preorder the fighting game right now with this page from the e-commerce website.
