Play Asia has put up a listing for the Valkyria Chronicles Remaster DX Pack, revealing some images of the bundle. You can check out pictures of the items being included in the package below this paragraph.
Along with a physical copy of the game, the DX Pack also comes with a pouch, towel (measuring at 900 mm by 400 mm), cork coaster set and poster set (measuring at 420 mm by 297 mm apiece). Also included is a playable demo of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, a new traditional RPG release for the franchise. The bundle will be made available at Play Asia on the 12th of February.
Valkyria Chronicles, which combines turn-based strategy with real-time elements, was first released for the PlayStation 3 in 2008. It was later ported to the PC in 2014.
The remastered version comes with improved graphics, all the post-launch DLC packs from the original in addition to trophy support (the original came out before trophies were made mandatory and was never patched with the system-level unlockables).
Sega has not yet announced a North American release for Valkyria Chronicles Remaster. With that said, the original game has already been translated in English. So, it shouldn’t take that much work to localize the remastered release for the North American region.
