It looks like the ice tray will let gamers create ice using the game’s logo. For the uninformed, Until Dawn takes place in a cabin located on a snowy mountain. The story is based on a group of young men and women, who are modeled after Hollywood actors and actresses such as Hayden Panettiere, revisiting the same location on the anniversary of a tragic incident.
Until Dawn plays similarly to Heavy Rain as players will have to press buttons at the right time when prompted with quick time events on screen. Not to mention that the choices made through the narrative will result in branching paths and, ultimately, different endings.
Sony original announced Until Dawn as a PlayStation Move game for the PlayStation 3. However, the project has been reworked for the PlayStation 4, dropping support for the motion control while using a modified version of the Killzone: Shadow Fall engine.
The survival-horror adventure game is slated to come out in the U.S. on the 25th of August in North America.
