Customers who are preordering the upcoming videogame from GameStop will get one of five randomly selected heroes. The preorder bonus will be bundled into the package for both online and in-store customers. So, if you are interested in the exclusive figures, make sure to preorder the game at the retailer.
For the uninformed, Battleborn is a new intellectual property from Gearbox Software, the studio best known for the Borderlands Brothers in Arms franchises. The new game combines first-person shooting with elements from the multiplayer online battle arena genres. In total, you will be able to play with around two dozen heroes. Aside from the multiplayer modes, the new game will also come with a campaign.
Battleborn is coming out in 2016 on the 3rd of May for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Gearbox Software and Sony have a marketing deal, meaning that the product will most likely be advertised as mainly a PS4 game.
Battleborn will have some heavy competition as similar games, Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch and Epic Games’ Paragon, are slated to launch in the year of 2016 as well.
