As you can see, the Bonus Item Set adds the “Golden Castle” as an additional castle option. Also included are the Osaka Campaign scenario along with additional costumes for both Takakage Kobayakawa and Lady Hayakawa. For the uninformed, the Empires version of Samurai Warriors 4 adds strategic elements to the hack and slash Musou gameplay. Omega Force, the development studio behind the Samurai Warriors series, also released Empires expansions for the past few Dynasty Warriors games as well.
The original version of Samurai Warriors 4 was released in the North American on the 21st of October in 2014. The enhanced version, Samurai Warriors 4-II, came out a year later on the 29th of September in 2015. Samurai Warriors 4 Empires is currently slated to arrive on March 15th of this year for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles in addition to the PlayStation Vita handheld system.
