Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be coming out soon for the PlayStation 4. The 2D fighting game will support both PS4 sticks and, thanks to a driver developed by Lab Zero Games, almost all PS3 sticks. About Skullgirls
Skullgirls was first released in 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 before being ported over to the PC the following year. The game uses six buttons as the punches and kicks have three levels of impact each: low, medium and high. Not to mention that is also uses eight directions on the direction pad and left analog. Eventually, Autumn Games and Lab Zero Games severed ties with Konami and decided to enlist the help of Marvelous and CyberFront. The original game was also removed in favor of Skullgirls Encore, which comes with updated gameplay in addition to new content.
Skullgirls Encore was initially slated to come out for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. However, Lab Zero Games decided to release Skullgirls 2nd Encore instead. The newest version comes with all the content and DLC from the previous versions in addition to new features, including support for PS3 sticks on the PS4 system.
