Is the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 500 GB PS4 Bundle worth buying?

Although Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until early 2016, fans of the series still have plenty to be excited about for this fall with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Sony is going to bundle the remastered compilation with a PlayStation 4 system. So will the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 500 GB PS4 Bundle be worth purchasing? Find out in or buying guide for the product below.

Pricing

The Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 500 GB PS4 Bundle has the same price tag as the other standard bundles. You can check out the price for the upcoming product with this link on Amazon.

The System

The system itself has the standard jet black color. With that said, the PlayStation 4 is a new model as it has a matte HDD cover in addition to the more tactile power and eject buttons. The internal changes also make the new model more power efficient and quieter when compared to the original one.

If you are looking for an upgrade or simply want the best performing PS4 on the market, then you might want to check out the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 500 GB PS4 Bundle as it comes with the CUH-1200 series unit.500GB Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection Bundle

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

For the collection, Naughty Dog is working with BluePoint Games to enhance the visuals of all three mainline games of the series: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The remastered ports will have a native resolution of 1080p along with a frame rate of 60 per second.Uncharted_2_Nathan Drake Collection_Warzone_Demo_Chloe_HelicopterFurthermore, there will be some adjustments made to the gameplay in regards to the amount of damage an enemy can take (especially for the first game) as well aiming. A new difficulty mode, in addition to costumes, are being included as well. Last but not least, early purchasers can get access to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta, which will take place from December 4th until December 13th.

The major omissions from the collection are the multiplayer modes from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. If you would like to play online in those two titles, you are stuck with the PlayStation 3 versions. Another potential issue, especially if you have a bandwidth cap, is that the system bundle only comes with a voucher to download the digital versions of the three games.

Even with the above-mentioned drawbacks, the collection features some of the best exclusive releases on the PlayStation 3. Even if you have already played through them before, the new gameplay and visual changes should make you want to replay them again, especially if you are eagerly awaiting the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Other PlayStation 4 Bundles

If you are looking to buy the PlayStation 4 later this year, you have plenty of other options aside from the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 500 GB PS4 Bundle. Already on the market is the Destiny: The Taken King 500 GB PS4 Bundle. In November, Sony is also going to release the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Limited Edition 1 TB PS4 Bundle, Star Wars Battlefront 500 GB PS4 Bundle, Star Wars Battlefront Limited Edition 500 GB PS4 Bundle and Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Limited Edition 500 GB PS4 Bundle.

If you prefer any of the new games mentioned above over the remastered releases of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, then you might want to get another system bundle instead.500GB PlayStation 4 Console Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront Bundle 1
