As with most big budget games, Doom will have plenty of free and paid post-launch content. id Software is planning three major premium multiplayer DLC packs. The first of which will add one new weapon, one new armor set, one new playable demon, one new piece of equipment, three new multiplayer maps, new hack modules, new taunts, new customization colors and new patterns. So you should get plenty of content with each premium DLC pack.

Official Strategy Guide
If you are planning on exploring every nook and cranny of Doom, you might want to consider picking up the official strategy guide.
