Bethesda Softworks has turned into a major publisher over past several years with the major successes of Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in addition to branching out to other genres aside from the company’s open-world RPG forte. In fact, Bethesda is going to be holding their first press conference, which takes place on the 14th of June, at E3 2015. Below, you will find a list of our most-anticipated Bethesda Softworks games that may appear at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
5. New Wolfenstein Game
The Wolfenstein brand got revived in a big way with last year’s Wolfenstein: The New Order in addition to the recently-released Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. So all signs are pointing towards the franchise continuing in the future. With that said, it may be a little early to see something substantial regarding a potential sequel at E3.
If you haven’t already, you can check out the first game and its DLC expansion on Amazon with the following links: Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
4. The Evil Within 2
Another game that ended up getting a lot of praise last year was The Evil Within. The new intellectual property comes from the creator behind the Resident Evil series, Shinji Mikami. With that said, the original game contain had some flaws, mainly on the technical side, that could be improved upon in the sequel. Just like Wolfenstein, however, it may be too early to hear anything big on The Evil Within 2 at E3 2015.
If you haven’t already, you can purchase the first game with this page.
3. Dishonored 2
The original Dishonored ended up being a surprise hit with its open-ended first-person gameplay where you can fight your way, sneak your way or perform any combination of both in order to complete your objective. It also has a few rough edges from the visual side that will, hopefully, be addressed in the sequel. With the first game being three years old, this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo may be the perfect time to announce Dishonored 2.
You can purchase the first Dishonored here.
2. Doom
The fourth mainline installment on Doom has gone through development difficulties after it was first announced in 2008. However, it looks like there is finally some light at the end of the long tunnel as the videogame was shown off last year behind the curtains. Not to mention that a multiplayer beta invite was also included with the above-mentioned Wolfenstein: The New Order. In terms of gameplay, players can expect to be able to pull off melee attacks with finishing moves in addition to having the ability to perform a double jump and parkour maneuvers.
With E3 2015 coming up, it makes a lot of sense for Bethesda Softworks to provide a huge blowout for the next Doom. Reserve the upcoming title via this link.
1. Fallout 4
Bethesda Game Studios has been working on a new project since completing the DLC packs for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Instead of The Elder Scrolls VI, however, all signs are pointing towards Fallout 4 as being the next game from the development team. A leak casting call document has revealed that the sequel is going to take place in Boston and its surrounding areas. Aside from a few story tidbits, however, not much else is known.
The upcoming Bethesda Softworks press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo should be the perfect time for the company to announce a sequel to one of their most popular franchises. As you can see above, there are more than a few games that may be appearing at the Bethesda Softworks E3 2015 press conference. So make sure to check it out on the 14th of June.
