Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the most high profile exclusive release for the PlayStation 4 so far. If you are getting the console to play the latest Uncharted installment, there are a few other PS4-only games we suggest picking up as well. You can find our list below.
5. Alienation
Housemarque is a studio best known for creating excellent arcade twitch shooting experiences with games like Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation and Resogun. Their latest project, Alienation, is their best looking and deepest title yet as players get to fight against aliens from the top-down perspective across large maps. Of course, you can also team up with four other players online (and offline as the developer recently added local co-op via a patch). If you are looking for a game that is easy to pick up and play, make sure you check out Housemarque’s latest release.
Alienation came out on the 26th of April. You can purchase the downloadable game from Amazon with this link.
4. inFamous: Second Son
Although it was released back in 2014, inFamous Second Son still remains one of the most technically impressive games on the PlayStation 4 as you can seamlessly maneuver your way across the skylines of Seattle using various super powers. Although a little bit on the short side, the game does come with good and evil paths that result in different endings. So there should be plenty of replay value in this open-world action-adventure game.
inFamous: Second Son came out on March 21st in 2014. You can buy the latest inFamous game with this link. While you are at it, you should also check out the inFamous: First Light. Some fans actually enjoyed First Light more than Second Son. inFamous: First Light was first made available on the 26th of August in 2014. Purchase the standalone expansion here.
3. Until Dawn
Until Dawn ended up surprising many gamers, especially when you considered that the PlayStation 4 exclusive started out as a PlayStation Move game for the PS3. The survival horror adventure game ended up being great thanks to the charming B-horror movie tropes, excellent performances from actual Hollywood actors as well as the butterfly effects that will change the outcome of the story based on your decisions and actions. If you are looking for a somewhat unique exclusive for the PS4, make sure to give Until Dawn a shot.
Until Dawn was released on the 25th of August in 2015. Buy the survival horror adventure game via this link.
2. Ratchet and Clank
While the Ratchet and Clank series has been around since the PlayStation 2 era, a lot of gamers still have not yet played the amazing action platforming titles. Fortunately, the developers at Insomniac Games decided to reboot the very first game with incredible Pixar-like visuals along with featuring the greatest hits of weapons the series has to offer. So, if you have not yet played a single game in the series, you should check out Ratchet and Clank on the PlayStation 4. So, even if you have already played the original, there is more than enough new content in the PS4 version.

1. Bloodborne
Bloodborne is a new intellectual created by From Software, the famous studio behind Demon’s Souls and the Dark Souls series. Bloodborne borrows a lot of elements from its spiritual predecessors as it features a weighty combat, numerous secrets as well as an interconnected world. What separates Bloodborne from the rest is the faster movement speed as well as the ability to regain lost health by attacking enemies after being hit. As a result, the combat is faster and more action-oriented for those who were put off by the slower paced Souls titles.
Bloodborne came out in 2015 on the 24th of March. You can buy the PS4 exclusive action role-playing game here. You can also check out the expansion pack, The Old Hunters, via this link.In addition to the above games, we also recommend giving the following titles a shot: Disgaea 5, Driveclub, Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall and The Order: 1886. Some of these titles may not by for everyone but they have some fans in one form or another.
