The PlayStation 4 version of Wild Arms 3 has been updated. The new 1.01 patch is advertised to improve stability for the software product.
Wild Arms 3, which was developed by Media.Vision (the same studio behind all the other games in the franchise), was first released for the PlayStation 2 on October 15, 2002. The PlayStation 4 version came out digitally on the PlayStation Store on May 17, 2016. If you are interested, you can buy the PS4 release, which comes with improved resolution as well as added trophy support, with this link on Amazon.
The 1.00 version of Wild Arms 3 suffered from numerous crashes. The most frequent hang-ups occur during battles when the player or enemy cast a spell. Hopefully, the new stability patch will address the issues.
The third mainline Wild Arms title is one of many PS2 JRPGs that have been re-released, with improved visuals and trophy support, on the PlayStation 4. The other software products include Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, Okage Shadow King and Rogue Galaxy.
So, if you are a fan of old school PlayStation 2 Japanese role-playing games, you might want to check out the aforementioned Wild Arms 3 as well as the other titles that were re-released, with enhanced features, on the PlayStation 4.
