Yoshitaka Amano: Illustrations features full color pieces from Final Fantasy. It also includes his other works, such as Gatchaman, Hero, N.Y. Salad and Vampire Hunter D. Aside from the art works, the books also include sketches, commentaries and interviews. Amano has worked on every major Final Fantasy game, including the upcoming Final Fantasy XV. The 15th mainline installment of the series has several major changes when compared to the previous titles as the combat system is more action-oriented while there are more open-world environments to explore.

Square Enix will be releasing Final Fantasy XV for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 30th of September. The role-playing game is also expected to come out for the PC in the future. The software product was previously known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII when it was announced a decade ago as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
