Xblaze Lost: Memories listed for U.S. release with details for PS3 and Vita

It looks like Aksys Games will be localizing Xblaze Lost: Memories in the United States. Amazon has put up listings for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions. The release dates for both are listed on September 1, which is most likely a placeholder. You can preorder the two with these next links: PS3 version and Vita version.

The listing also provided some details on Xblaze Lost: Memories, which is a mix between the RPG and visual novel genres. In addition to the multi-branching story heavy sections, gamers will get to explore a retro 8-bit 2D dungeon.

The story features a mysterious girl with pink hair trying to save her missing sister who disappeared into an strange world. To do so, she has to collect memory fragments with the help of someone going by the alias of Nobody. At the same time, the fragments also belong to an unidentified person. So finding all the pieces will also help determine who they belong to.

Xblaze Lost: Memories is a spin-off of the XBlaze Code: Embryo and a spin-off to the BlazBlue series of fighting games. Needless to say, fans of previous game and the BlazBlue should definitely check out Lost: Memories when it comes out in the U.S. later this year.
