Super Smash Bros. Amiibo Universal Green Mushroom Case gets U.S. release date and photos

GameStop has revealed their exclusive Universal Green Mushroom Case for the Super Smash Bros. Amiibo figures. The distribution is being handled by BD & A. Find the photos of the officially-licensed storage container below this paragraph.

The GameStop exclusive product has almost the same design as the regular mushroom case that have been appearing at European retailers. The only difference is that the colored parts of the casing is green instead of red. In the Mario videogames, the green mushrooms usually nets the player an extra life.

While the Universal Green Mushroom Case can store other things, it is mainly designed for safekeeping the Amiibo figures. The first wave of these interactive figurines include Donkey Kong, Fox, Kirby, Link, Mario, Marth, Pikachu, Peach, Samus, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Yoshi. The second set comes with Captain Falcon, Diddy Kong, Little Mac, Luigi, Pit and Zelda. If you haven’t already, you can preorder the figures on Amazon with this link.

The first wave is launching on the 21st of November, the same release date as Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Preorder the fighting game with this page if you haven’t already. Amiibo is also supported in Mario Kart 8, Mario Party 10, Captain Toda: Treasure Tracker and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
