WiiU_Bayonetta2_scrn08_E3The standalone physical disc version of Bayonetta 2 has been released in the North American region. If you are interested, you can purchase the game with this link from Amazon’s shopping website.

Nintendo previously bundled the sequel with the Wii U port of the original game. The original physical release ended up getting quite expensive due to its limited print run as well as increased demand due to the recent announcement of Bayonetta being a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. Thankfully, Nintendo decide to reprint Bayonetta 2, this time without the original game, at a cheaper price tag.

Bayonetta 2 was first released on the 24th of October in 2014 for the North American region. The sequel was developed by Platinum Games, the same studio behind the first game as well as other titles such as Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and Vanquish. Nintendo also helped in the production of the game, resulting in its Wii U exclusivity in addition to some interesting cameos.

Bayonetta 2 ended up being one of the highest rated games released so far for Nintendo’s current-gen console. So, if you haven’t done so already, you might want to check out the new physical version of the action game.
