The release date is now available for the Space Dandy: Season 1 Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo. The product, which you can preorder right now from Amazon with this link, is expected to come out on the 3rd of March. Take a look at the packaging below this paragraph.
The collection includes all the episodes from the first season of Space Dandy. For those who are unfamiliar with the series, the anime stars an alien hunter named Dandy as he traverse through space with his companions.
The Amazon exclusive version comes with a set of six cards showing off the art of the characters. Aside from the episodes, the discs also contain a Dandy Guy in Space: Part 01 featurette, textless opening song, textless ending song, trailers, commercials, promotional videos as well as commentaries for the 1st and 10th episodes.
Space Dandy is directed by the legendary Shinichiro Watanabe, who previously was the director behind classic Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo anime series.
