Officially-licensed Full HD PlayStation 4 Monitor from Hori gets U.S. release date and more info

The release date is now available for Hori’s Full HD PlayStation 4 Monitor, thanks to a listing from Amazon. According to the product page, the portable screen attachment should be out by the end of this year on the 29th of December. You can check it out right now with this page on Amazon. A photo of the packaging is placed below this paragraph.

The Full HD PS4 Monitor is officially-licensed for Sony Computer Entertainment America. So it should be fully compatible with the console. The screen is attached to the top of the system, matching the outer shell (and color, if you have the Jet Black version of the PlayStation 4).

The screen itself includes an 11.6″ LCD display capable of full 1080p output along with coming with several HDMI customizable settings. While it has “built-in stereo speakers for quality sound,” there are also two headphone jacks to use your own headphones and/or external speakers. Last but not least, the product can also be folded up as it only adds less than 1.25″ of height to the PlayStation 4.

If you want to play the PS4 but don’t have access to a HDTV, you should definitely take a look at the Hori’s Full HD PlayStation 4 Monitor.
