Mortal Kombat X Collector’s and Kollector’s Editions listed

MKX_GamescomScreenshot_KanoScorpionUpdate: The collector’s editions have been officially announced. You can preorder the two with these links: Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition by Coarse and Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Import Edition.

It looks like Mortal Kombat X will be getting several special editions. Amazon.it is listing both a Collector’s Edition and the Kollector’s Edition (which is exclusive to the retailer) for the videogame. Unfortunately, no details were listed in regards to what exactly the extras will be for both products.

So far, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has only officially confirmed that you will be able to unlock Goro by preordering the videogame. For the uninformed, the character and his four arms first appear as a sub-boss in the very first game in the franchise and has been a mainstay since.

Mortal Kombat X takes place 25 years after the Mortal Kombat reboot. Along with older favorites like Scorpion, Sub-Zero and the above-mentioned Goro, there will also be some new fighters. One of which is Cassie Cage, the descendant of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. The other new comers are D’Vorah, Kotal Kahn in addition to the duo of Ferra and Torr.

Mortal Kombat X is a cross-gen release as it is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One current-gen consoles along with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation last-gen systems. A PC version has also been confirmed. The videogame has a release date set for April 14. Preorder it right now from Amazon with this page.
