The Headset Companion App has been updated to add a MLB The Show 17 custom audio profile for the PlayStation Platinum, Gold and Silver Gaming Headsets.
For the uninformed, the application is free to download on the PlayStation Store. It is used to change the setting for the official PlayStation headsets. All three of the PlayStation Platinum, Gold and Silver support 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound. Exclusive to the Platinum version is the addition of 3D audio.

MLB The Show 17 was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 28th of March in North America. This year’s edition adds a new retro mode that features classic gameplay and graphics. More depth were also added to the Road to the Show mode as players can now make both on field and off field decisions. Last but not least, the game also supports save data import from MLB The Show 16.
