Thanks to an update to the cover of Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy from Amazon, the memory card file size requirement has been revealed for the Vita exclusive JRPG. The game requires 2176 KB of free space on the storage of your handheld or PlayStation TV.
For the uninformed, the original Vita units did not have any internal storage. As a result, you have to purchase a memory card in order to launch some games, which came with a big label that mentions the file size requirements on the front cover.
Sony remedied this issue by including a 1 GB internal memory for the 2000 model of the PlayStation Vita along with the PlayStation TV (which is compatible with Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy). So you don’t have to worry about the requirement unless you bought the original Vita unit that don’t have a memory card.
Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy is releasing on the 9th of June. The JRPG, which comes from the same studio that developed the underrated Demon Gaze on the Vita, is a sci-fi dungeon crawler that promises to provide at least 40 hours of playtime.
