Mad Catz Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2 release date moved up

While the regular version of the Mad Catz Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2 has been delayed, the release date for the special Ultra Street Fighter IV version has been moved up a little bit. Amazon updated its listing for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 product, changing the previously-listed release date of April 24 to April 16. If you are interested, you can preorder it from the retailer using this link.

The product uses official Ultra Street Fighter IV artwork for its top panel, which can be swapped with your own custom artwork with the included screwdriver. The listing also mentioned that it comes with Sanwa Denshi parts in addition to the Vewlix-style design with eight face buttons. Last but not least, you can open the arcade stick to access the internal components in addition to storing the aforementioned screwdriver as well as the USB cable.

Aside from using the joystick for fighting games, you can also change the Mad Catz Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2 to function as a left analog, right analog and directional pad for games other than 2D fighters.

If you haven’t heard already, Ultra Street Fighter IV is being ported over to the PlayStation 4 sometime later this spring. Capcom will also be releasing Street Fighter V on the PS4, as well as the PC, in the future. If you want an authentic arcade experience while playing these two fighters, you should check out the Mad Catz Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2.
