The Limited Edition White Gold Wireless Headset is mainly used for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. Gamers need a system firmware of at least 4.20 on the Playstation 3 and 1.6 on the Playstation 4. Just make sure you have the latest system updates and you should be fine. The same headset is compatible with the Playstation Vita and other devices but some of the audio modes can only be used on the Playstation home consoles.
Despite its name, the Limited Edition White Gold Wireless Headset has no gold coloring whatsoever. Instead, the headset matches the same Glacier White coloring found in the Glacier White Dual Shock 4 and the Destiny Playstation 4 Bundle. The inner side of the headband is painted in dark blue.
