New quantity, size and other info on Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 Remix Limited Edition were hidden away in the comment part of a PlayStation.Blog post as Square Enix Japan Studios’ product manager, Kaori Takasue, posted answers to some questions from fans. On one of the replies, she said that the quantity of the collector’s version is going to be limited as it is only available on a first come, first serve basis. To ensure a copy, she wants fans to preorder the videogame as soon as possible on websites.
Takasue then talked about the size of the limited edition by saying that Square Enix is aware of the possible size differences of the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 Remix Limited Editions. They do not want the art book-like packaging of the first collection to tower over the upcoming second collection. She further hinted that nothing has been set in stone about the limited edition when responding to disappointed fans who wanted more than just a pin.
Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 Remix is available starting on the 2nd of December. Customers do not have to pay anything extra with the Limited Edition as the included pin comes at no additional costs. The Blu-Ray disc has Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. The product is only being released on the PlayStation 3.
