Images and release date for the blue version of the officially licensed Horipad Xbox One controller

A blue version of the officially licensed Horipad Xbox One controller will be coming out in the near future. Amazon has put up a listing for the new variant with a release date set for the 20th of April. If you are interested in the gamepad, you can preorder it right now with this link on the retailer’s website. Check out some images, including shots of the packaging, below this paragraph. For the uninformed, the Horipad comes with many of the same features (such as the force feedback vibration, impulse triggers and Kinect camera compatibility) as the official Xbox One Wireless Controller. The listing mentioned that the third-party pad will have “accurate analog sticks, responsive buttons and triggers, and the best D-pad in the industry.” Being wired, you also don’t have to use any batteries. Last but not least, its shell is built using high quality polycarbonate for ergonomic purposes.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the official Xbox One Wireless Controller, you may want to check out the Horipad, especially when you considered that it has been officially licensed by Microsoft. In addition to the upcoming blue variant, you can also take a look at the standard black version of the gamepad on this Amazon page.
