Amazon has listed the first details regarding both versions of the official strategy guide for the third mainline Dark Souls videogame. Both guides are advertised to provide a comprehensive walkthrough of the massive role-playing game. To help readers, detailed maps (which highlights important locations for items and shortcuts) are included as well. Of course, the books will also assist in defeating the menacing bosses and enemies. The other content include data for armor, character builds (for both player vs. enemy and player vs. player), equipment, items, spells and weapons. An e-Guide, optimized for second screen devices, is included in the product at no additional costs.
Exclusive to the Dark Souls III Collector’s Edition: Prima Official Game Guide is a premium hardcover design as well as other “bonus content” that have not yet been announced. The limited edition version of the book will be limited to just one print run.
Both official strategy guides are launching on the same day as the Dark Souls 3 videogame, which is expected to arrive on the 12th of April in North America.
