File size revealed for Resident Evil 4 on PS4

Resident Evil 4 ps4 xbox oneThe file size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Resident Evil 4. When viewed directly from the PS4, the product page for the digital version showed that the fourth mainline installment of the series is going to take up 8.98 GB of the internal hard disk drive of the home console.

Along with digital distribution, Capcom will also be making the latest port of Resident Evil 4 available physically. If you are interested, you can preorder the disc version of the critically acclaimed survival horror game with this link on Amazon.

For the uninformed, Resident Evil 4 features significant changes when compared to the previous iterations as the camera has been moved to an over-the-should point of view while the there is more emphasis on action.

Resident Evil 4 was first released for the Nintendo Gamecube on January 11, 2005. It was later ported to multiple systems, including the PlayStation 2 on October 25, 2005, PC on May 15, 2007, Nintendo Wii on June 19, 2007, iOS on July 27, 2009 as well as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 20, 2011.

The PlayStation 4 version, in addition to the Xbox One release, will be launching on the 30th of August in the North American region. The two latest ports featured visual improvements when compared to the previous console installments.
