Dragon Ball Xenoverse has price disparity between current and next gen

Dragon Ball XenoverseIt seems like Dragon Ball Xenoverse is going to be more expensive on next-gen than current-gen. Amazon has shown the prices for the videogame on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The product costs higher on the next-gen systems than the current-gen ones. Lead producer Masayuki Hirano said recently that Dragon Ball Xenoverse is using the full 1080p resolution on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Aside from the graphics, the videogame seems to be the same on next-gen and current-gen from a gameplay perspective. The product is being made available in 2015 by Bandai Namco Games, who currently holds the license for videogames based on Dragon Ball and other anime like Naruto, One Piece and Saint Seiya.

Dimps is the development studio of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. They are the same people that developed the popular Dragon Ball Z: Budokai videogames on the Playstation 2. Their other products from recent years are Freedom Wars, Saint Seiya, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Street Fighter X Tekken and Super Street Fighter IV. Before its name was unveiled, the fighting game was known as Dragon Ball New Project.
