Donkey Kong, Link, Samus and Wario PDP Wired Fight Pads for Wii U released in U.S.

Link-Wired-Fight-Pad-Wii-U-PDP-1The second wave of PDP Wired Fight Pads for Wii U have been released in the United States region. If you haven’t already, you can purchase the four new variations on Amazon: Donkey Kong, Link, Samus and Wario.

If you skipped out on our previous story, the PDP Wired Fight Pad is officially licensed by Nintendo. The third-party controller looks just like the official Gamecube pad with some key differences. Once of which is the C-Stick,, which has been replaced with a right analog that is the same size as the left one. PDP also added a fourth shoulder button (when compared to the original Gamecube pad) in addition to making the ZL and ZR buttons bigger.

While the Wired Fight Pads were created specifically for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you can also use it to play games that support the Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro as well as Virtual Console titles. It can be connected to the Wii U using the Wii Remote.

Aside from the above-mentioned Donkey Kong, Link, Samus and Wario variants, PDP also released Fight Pads based on Luigi, Mario, Peach and Yoshi. All these characters are iconic and playable in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which was released in late 2014.
