The accessory is attached to the bottom of the DualShock 4 controller. Its backlit chat pad is similar to the ones you see in older cell phones as you will need to use your thumbs for input. This method should be much faster than using the DualShock 4 to point to a letter or number on the screen.
The other feature is the battery pack. The product comes with a 1500 mAh rechargeable battery that promises to double the battery life of the PlayStation 4 controller.
