Amazon has updated the product page for the Nintendo New 3DS XL Solgaleo Lunala Black Edition, revealing some additional photos. As you can see above, the upper outer case features artwork of Solgaleo from Pokemon Sun and Lunala from Pokemon Moon. On the lower outer case are silhouettes of the same two legendary pocket monsters.
For the uninformed, the New Nintendo 3DS XL features several improvements when compared to the original model. For one, a right analog nub was added. Furthermore, the bottom screen can now read Amiibo cards and figures while the 3D effects were also made better. Last but not least, the New 3DS has slight better specs, allowing for better performance in addition to a few exclusive games.
The Nintendo New 3DS XL Solgaleo Lunala Black Edition will be released on the 28th of October in the North American region. The highly anticipated Pokemon Sun and Moon games are coming out several weeks later on the 18th of November.
