Adam Boyes talks Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gameplay debut, Naughty Dog and more

uncharted-4-a-thiefs-endAdam Boyes had some glowing things to say about the recent gameplay debut of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End at the PlayStation Experience. In the 15-minute long Bonus Round show on Game Trailers, he admitted that he only saw small snippets of the presentations during rehearsals. So he was excited when he saw some of the new stuff like Nathan Drake using a grappling hook.

Overall, Adam Boyes thought that the sequel “looks incredible,” adding that it is hard to beat Naughty Dog. He believes that the studio is the “most talented” and “the best out there.”

He went on to mention an interesting dynamic between the first and third party teams at Sony. He and Scott Rhode usually “surprise each other” with announcements as they try to top one another. For the uninformed, Adam Boyes is the Vice President of Publisher & Developer Relations at PlayStation while Scott Rhode is the PlayStation Software Product Development Head for Sony Worldwide Studios America.
