Amazon.jp has posted several images of the upcoming MSY Mario and Luigi rubber faceplates for the New Nintendo 3DS XL. You can check out the images of the protective covers below this paragraph.

As you cans see above, the products (which have been officially licensed by Nintendo) feature the two brothers from the popular Mario franchise. Aside from giving the New 3DS XL a custom look, these faceplates will also protect the handheld system from dust and scratches. Not to mention that gamers will still have access to the AC adapter, camera, game cartridge slot, SD card slot and stylus.
The MSY Mario and Luigi rubber faceplates are slated to arrive on the 9th of July in Japan. It is unknown id the same products will be released in the United States. So American gamers may have to consider importing for now.
The New Nintendo 3DS XL has been available in North America since the 13th of February. The handheld comes with slightly better horsepower when compared to the original system, allowing for improved performance when it comes to loading and downloading. Not to mention that it also has the ability to directly read Amiibo figures without the need of an adapter.
