The Xbox One S was officially confirmed during Microsoft’s press conference at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. The new console is 40 percent smaller when compared to the original system. Furthermore, it also comes with high dynamic range colors, Ultra HD Blu-ray support and 4K streaming. The Xbox One S is expected to launch later this August in North America.
In 2017, Microsoft is also planning to release a more powerful console, which has a codename of Proejct Scorpio, aiming at 6 teraflops in power.
